Before you create an export

How does YouTube clipping work?

TubeMP4 prepares the selected public source, trims the requested range, and uploads the completed file to temporary storage for secure delivery.

How long can an export be?

MP4 clips can be up to 60 seconds. GIF and Meme exports can be up to 10 seconds to keep rendering time and file size practical.

What does the subtitle tool export?

The subtitle tool exports an available native caption track as SRT or VTT. It does not generate speech-to-text when the source has no accessible caption track.

Where is the finished file stored?

Rendered Clip, GIF, and Meme files use temporary Cloudflare R2 storage and a time-limited signed download link. TubeMP4 does not create a permanent public media library.
